Hubertus Thonhauser has been a tech-entrepreneur and VC for around 20 years. He is a Partner in Enabling Future, a family office venture firm with a portfolio of companies mainly in US and MENA and covering blockchain, fin-tech and market places.
Hubertus has invested in a number of early stage companies and in the GP of a hedge-fund in the crypto space. Also he is an early backer and executive member of the board of the Tezos Foundation. Tezos is a large proof-of-stake blockchain project with a market cap over 1bn USD, that in 2017 had raised the largest ICO in history to the date.
Previously Hubertus was Co-founder of Babil Games, a leading mobile games company in the MENA region, which he led to a successful exit to NASDAQ-listed Stillfront Group, the largest European player in that space, in 2016. Before that he held various C-level and board-positions in the regulated gaming and sports-betting industry in Europe.
